The distinctive palette of pink, green, black and white beadwork is typical of the southern Sotho beadwork of the Eastern Cape. The basic design is an embellished lattice of triangles on pink and green backgrounds; another feature of beadwork from the Drakensberg Sotho. This complete panel would have been attached to a beadwork belt as the apron panel.
